  • Google Drive Integration Data: If you choose to connect your Google Drive account, we request authorization via OAuth to manage files. We securely store authentication tokens to upload files directly to your personal Google Drive.

3. Google API Services Disclosure

Ask Iyad's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • Data Usage: We strictly use the Google Drive API to allow you to upload large study materials directly from our app to your connected Google Drive account.
  • No Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, or trade your Google Drive data to any third parties.
  • Restricted Access: We only request the minimum necessary scopes to perform file uploads. Your files remain your property and under your control.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To create, manage, and authenticate your account.
  • To facilitate the uploading, organizing, and sharing of study materials within your assigned groups.
  • To improve our Service and respond to your customer service requests.

5. Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption, to protect your data. Your Google Drive OAuth tokens are encrypted before being stored in our database. We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy.

6. Your Data Rights & Deletion

You have full control over your connected accounts. You can revoke Google Drive access at any time from the "Plugins" section within the app, which will permanently delete the associated OAuth tokens from our systems. You may also request the deletion of your entire Ask Iyad account by contacting us.
